What is the best way to double the storage capacity of your archive? The answer may surprise you: build an archive on top of it. Is your archive almost full? If your archive space is high enough, the Duplex archive system, with its double-height mobile racks, are the perfect solutions.
Mobile and efficient
A mobile storage system is the most efficient way to use the available space. Compared to static filing cabinets or racks, a mobile solution takes up just half the space. With a mobile system, you create twice as much archive space on the same floor surface area. And if you then opt for the double height, in one simple step, you have four times more storage space for your archive. In other words: 300% more space than with a static, non-Duplex archive system.
The Duplex system
The Duplex system is fitted with electrically-powered mobile racks one or two levels high. The double version has racks on two levels, with the bottom rack supporting the rack above it. That way, the bottom and top cabinets move synchronously. The system is fitted with a slatted floor on the top level, which can be reached using the supplied stairs.

Magista produces and builds the Duplex archive system in-house. That means that the system can be adapted to your specific wishes and requirements, if necessary.
